Privacy & Terms

MashMatch is a small, invite-only hobby app that scores bourbons against your taste. Here is the plain-language version of how it works and what it does with your data.

You must be 21 or older

MashMatch is about whiskey and is intended only for adults of legal drinking age (21+ in the US). Please drink responsibly. Nothing here is professional, medical, or purchasing advice.

What we store

• The name you were given on your invite.
• Your ratings, your shelf, and your want-to-try list.
• Basic records of your scans (what bottle was identified and when) so the app can score and rank for you.

What we do not store

• Your photos. Scan images are sent to the AI to identify the bottle and are not saved by default.
• No passwords (your invite link is your sign-in), no payment info, no tracking or advertising.

How identification works

MashMatch uses an AI vision model to read labels and known product details. It can be wrong, especially on blurry photos or obscure bottles. Curated bottle data takes priority where we have it. Prices are estimates, not offers.

Your data, your call

Want your account and data removed? Email us and we will delete it. Because this is invite-only, we can also revoke any invite link at any time.

No warranty

MashMatch is provided as-is, for fun, with no guarantees of accuracy or uptime. Use it at your own discretion.
